Frambuzi Sbagliato with Mateusz Noweiski – East London Liquor Company
Originally from Poland, with almost two years in London and exactly one-year making people happy at East London Liquor Company, I completely fell in love with the city and the people creating this amazing vibe here at East London Liquor Company.
Working in a brilliant place with a distillery producing decent spirits and bar and restaurant serving tasty cocktails and small plates with a huge spirit collection was a stroke of luck. Together with the bar team, we’re constantly working on new cocktails based on ingredients that we like and believe in. This is why Victory Bitter is so often our choice of bitter Aperitivo.
The cocktail I'm going to share is basically a twist on a Negroni Sbagliato, which is often my go-to when I’m working on drinks in the summertime. Victory Bitter gives the drink amazing complexity and balances with the rest of the ingredients which give a huge spectrum of different flavour going through from bitter to floral, herbal to acidic and estery.
30ml Victory Bitter
30ml Cocchi di Torino
7,5ml Amontillado Sherry
30ml Tiny Rebel Frambuzi
Absinthe/ Raspberry Brandy Spray (1:1)
Pour all the ingredients into wine glass over a big chunk of ice. Give a quick stir, put a mint leaf on the ice and spray Absinthe with brandy over the glass.
